Sewer Rats Winners of Five in as Many

The Sewer Rats would have a quick lead with Eric Vogt unassisted, Boris Raizberg from Vogt, an Eric "Bogus" Rogus shorthander (after Raizberg' trip), from Vogt and Darren Kamura, and Kamikura unassisted. The Sewer Rats were ahead 4-0, but a fancy goal by Alidad "The Alligator Mireskandari from Jonathan Greenspan and Anthony Ursino would bring the Bulldogs to down three, Vogt from Kamikura and Bogus, and Raizberg unassisted would cancel that out and then some. Now 6-1 Sewer Rats, the Bulldogs would pull back a goal through Mike Ciampi, then Greenspan from The Alligator and Alex "Sputnik" Sinelnikov. Sputnik added another to make a dicey finish, but the Bulldogs would fall short, as the Sewer Rats won 6-4. With...

Magical Mireskandari Wins it in Overtime

Mike Ciampi would score from Jonathan Greenspan and Anthony Ursino for a Bulldogs lead, but the Hooligans leveled it when Keith Plescia went high on his forehand. The Hooligans were now cooking with gas, and it showed when Dave Leong had a coast to coast rush which resulted in him going in on a breakaway and scoring low. Zach Milos, from Chris Folkens and Plescia, would notch the next Hooligans' goal, and it was now 3-1 Rioters, but they could not go further up, which would breathe life into the Bulldogs' offense. That Bulldogs' offense would wake up, and the K-9 Unit would claw back to down one when Greenspan hit home a one-timer from Alidad "The Alligator" Mireskandari, but they would not yet be able to...

The Bulldogs would go up 2-0 with The Ox from Steve Parry, but the Hooligans would cancel that out with some fantastic puck work when Keith Plescia fed Dave Leong, who would push a puck to Joe Hutchison for his finish. The Ox was out for another and would do just that when The Alligator and Alex Sinelnikov helped, which was followed by The Alligator unassisted. Now 4-1 Bulldogs, they would have to go shorthanded when Bill "Mondo" Mondano was deemed a bad dog and would have to go to the box for a trip. No matter though for his K-9 buddies, who would score...

Bulldogs Start Slow, But Defeat Archers

The Archers would outdo the Bulldogs in the first period, thanks to goals by Tyler Morris from Greg "The Chairman" Chierchie, then Jason Fischbach unassisted. On the back end, Tyler Armstrong was holding it down to keep the Bulldogs off the board, but Joseph Ursino did well to prevent the K-9 Unit from falling behind by more than two. Riding Ursino's play, the Bulldogs would halve their deficit and reward him with an early second period goal, Anthony Ursino from Jonathan Greenspan and Alidad "The Alligator" Mireskandari, but the play would be level after that, due to the Archers clogging the neutral zone. The Archers would be unable to make any inroads on the Bulldogs, and would instead be hit with an attack...

Sewer Rats Defeat Bulldogs in Overtime

The Sewer Rats would attack the Bulldogs, pinning them in their own zone for much of the early portion of the game, going ahead when Chris Mazza went low from Eric Vogt, but their dynamic play would leave them underwhelmed when the Bulldogs immidiately responded with a pretty goal by Jonathan Greenspan from Anthony Ursino and Arthur Kharko. The Bulldogs would then quickly bite the Sewer Rats again, when Joe Muzikar hit the back of the net from Andy "The Ox" Viox when The Ox worked a fantastic give and go with his K-9 pal. But the Sewer Rats would level it on Evgeny "The Giant" Nikitin's low one timer from Vogt, and it would go into the second period all square at 2-2. Most of the second period would be...
